Italian Frigate “Federico Martinengo” Enters Cypriot Waters
The Italian frigate Federico Martinengo has entered the waters of Cyprus as part of Italy’s initiative to support the security of Southern Cyprus.
The vessel departed from the port of Taranto on Monday, carrying more than 100 personnel, both men and women, according to reports from Sigmalive and other news outlets.
The deployment is part of Italy’s broader effort to bolster Southern Cyprus’ defense amid regional tensions.
