Five Injured In Tatlısu–Küçükerenköy Road Crash

Five people were injured in a traffic accident on the Tatlısu–Küçükerenköy main road after a vehicle veered off the road, plunged into a المياه canal and struck a wall.

According to the police press office, the crash occurred at around 16:00 when a saloon car driven by Fehmi Karataş (67) lost control. The vehicle was thrown into a water channel before colliding with the canal wall.

The driver, along with passengers Syed Mubashar Ali (25), Rıaz Ahmed (29), Mumtaz Ahmed (43) and Asad Ali (31), were all taken to Famagusta State Hospital for treatment.

Medical examinations revealed that Mumtaz Ahmed suffered a fractured shoulder, while Rıaz Ahmed sustained a broken nose. All injured individuals were placed under observation following treatment.

Police said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
