Turkey’s Annual Inflation Eases To 30.9 Pct In March
Turkey’s annual inflation stood at 30.87 percent in March, while consumer prices rose 1.94 percent from the previous month, according to data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
The figures came in a month marked by pressure on pricing behavior stemming from the war, adding to concerns over inflation.
The March figures pointed to a slower pace of price growth compared with February, when annual inflation was 31.53 percent and monthly inflation was 2.96 percent.
