The newly elected Central Executive Board (MYK), largely composed of younger members, signals the party’s intention to adopt a more dynamic and active political approach. The reshuffle has been interpreted as part of TDP’s broader effort to renew itself and strengthen its presence on the ground.
In a statement, Ekinci described his appointment as “a great honour” rather than a career step, noting that coming from the party’s Youth Organisation made the role particularly meaningful. He thanked those who entrusted him with the position and pledged to continue contributing to the party.
The new Central Executive Board includes Ayşe Öztabay, Ece Balcı, Erman Yaylalı, Evrim Hınçal, Hasan Umur, Kemal Baykallı, Mustafa Emiroğulları, Tacan Reynar and Yasemin Çobanoğlu.
With the new leadership in place, TDP is expected to intensify both its organisational efforts and political activities in the coming period.
