Bengihan: No Room for Compromise
KTAMS President Güven Bengihan delivered strong criticism of the government, saying there is no willingness to engage in dialogue.
“We have no intention of establishing contact with this government. It must go. It is dragging the country into darkness and toward a cliff with each passing day. Today, the public gave the best possible response to this dark order,” he said.
Bengihan also accused the government of placing protesters in confrontation with the police. “They put us face to face with police officers. Our aim is not to harm them,” he stated.
Criticizing the government over bribery allegations, Bengihan said, “This government, associated with bribery, is an embarrassment. It is the worst government in history.”
He added that protests would continue until the government steps down. “We are standing up for this country’s dignity, our future, and the struggle for existence carried out by hundreds of thousands on this land. The protests will continue until this government is gone,” he said.
