Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot Leaders Hold Positive Talks
Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders met today at the residence of UN Special Representative Khassim Diagne in Cyprus. The meeting was held in a positive atmosphere, with leaders engaging in a productive discussion on substantive issues and the way forward.
Both sides welcomed the UN Secretary-General’s sustained commitment and active engagement on the Cyprus issue, reaffirming their readiness to continue supporting his efforts.
The leaders also reviewed progress on trust-building initiatives and instructed their representatives to continue discussions aimed at finalizing the remaining issues.
They agreed to reconvene by the end of April to provide more concrete updates.
