Detention Of Real Estate Agent Ewa Kunzel To Continue In South Cyprus
German real estate agent Ewa Isabella Kunzel, who is being tried in South Cyprus over a case involving Greek Cypriot properties in Northern Cyprus, will remain in custody after her request for release was rejected.
According to Haravgi newspaper, the appellate court found no grounds to intervene in the lower court’s decision to deny her release, ruling that Kunzel should remain detained.
The report said the Court of Appeal identified no violations that would warrant overturning the initial ruling, and confirmed that the detention order issued by the lower court remains valid.
