Temperatures to Rise to 27°C, Showers Expected on Sunday
The Meteorology Department has announced that temperatures will rise to between 24°C and 27°C during the week of 21–27 April, while localized showers are expected on Sunday during the afternoon hours.
According to the weekly weather forecast, the region will be under the influence of a mild and relatively humid air mass during the first half of the period, followed by a cooler and more humid air mass in the second half.
Temperatures are expected to peak at 24–27°C both inland and along the coast throughout the week.
Weather conditions are forecast to remain mostly cloudy, with patchy fog expected during the early morning hours on Wednesday and Thursday. On Sunday, intermittent showers are expected in some areas during the afternoon.
Winds will generally blow from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally becoming strong at times.
