South Cyprus Election Polls: DISY Leads, AKEL Second, ELAM Third
Polls ahead of the 24 May parliamentary elections in Cyprus continue to be published in the Greek Cypriot press.
According to a survey conducted by CYMAR Market Research Ltd for ANT1 and published yesterday, some changes were recorded in the lower-ranking parties’ vote shares.
The survey shows the main competition for first place continuing between DISY and AKEL, while ELAM maintains a stable third position. DIKO has moved up to fourth place.
Party standings
According to the poll, 17% of respondents said they would vote for DISY, marking a two-point increase compared to March.
AKEL stands at 16%, remaining stable compared to the previous survey.
ELAM follows in third place with 10%.
DIKO rises by one point to 9%, placing fourth.
“Amesi Dimokratia” ranks fifth with 7%, while ALMA follows in sixth place with 6%.
Volt and EDEK are both recorded at 3%.
Adjusted vote estimates
In “adjusted vote” figures, DISY stands at 22%, AKEL at 21%, ELAM at 13%, DIKO at 12%, “Amesi Dimokratia” at 9%, ALMA at 8%, and both Volt and EDEK at 4%.
