Temperatures To Reach Up To 38°C In Interior Regions This Week
The Meteorology Department has said that temperatures are expected to reach 35–38°C in inland areas and 31–34°C along the coasts.
In its weekly weather forecast covering 27 June–3 July 2026, the department stated that the region will generally be under the influence of a low-pressure system and a warm, relatively humid air mass.
It added that the highest temperatures will range between 35–38°C in interior regions and 31–34°C in coastal areas.
Winds are expected to blow generally from the south and west at moderate strength.
