Güröz said the previous Koop-Süt management had allowed TL 75 million worth of products to deteriorate.

“I am not talking about TL 15 worth of spoiled stock, but TL 15 million worth. There is no problem, and there is no one responsible. If we, as trade unionists, had done this, they would have hanged us, but no one here has been held responsible,” Güröz said.

Questioning whether the products had been produced in a spoiled condition or had been returned, Güröz said, “If they were produced spoiled, there is responsibility for this, starting with whoever produced them. Of course, someone must be held accountable.”

Güröz said he had requested an investigation into the matter, adding, “The bank’s inspection and supervision department came, carried out an examination and is trying to prepare a report. But things are moving very slowly. Because the bank’s inspection and supervision department reports to the bank’s internal systems officer. That is how the system works.”
