Car Dealership Torched in Nicosia, Two Arrested at Ercan
A vehicle at a car dealership in Nicosia was set on fire after flammable material was poured over it. Two suspects believed to be linked to the incident were identified and arrested at Ercan Airport.
According to the Police Press Office, at around 3:30am on September 8, a vehicle inside Tol Cars, a dealership operating on Şehit Ertuğrul Arif Street in Nicosia, was deliberately set alight after flammable material was poured over it.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze. One vehicle was completely destroyed and rendered unusable, while another vehicle was partially damaged after the flames spread. The roof of the business also sustained damage from smoke and soot.
As part of the investigation, suspects A.B. (M-19) and A.A. (M-20), believed to be linked to the incident, were identified and arrested at Ercan Airport.
The police investigation is continuing.
