Cooler Weather Ahead, Rain Expected Thursday and Friday

According to the department’s weekly weather forecast covering September 15-21, the region will be under the influence of a low-pressure system during the first part of the period, bringing hot and relatively humid conditions, before cooler and humid air masses in the upper atmosphere take effect in the following days.

The weather will generally be partly cloudy and mostly clear throughout the week. Fog is expected in some areas during the morning on Wednesday, while scattered showers or thunderstorms are forecast for Thursday and Friday.

During the first days of the period, maximum temperatures will range between 34 and 37 degrees Celsius inland, falling to 30-33 degrees on the following days. Temperatures along the coast will remain around 28-31 degrees.

Winds will generally be moderate from the south and west, occasionally reaching strong speeds.
