Nicosia to Face 5-Day Water Cut, LTB Announces
The Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) has announced that the city will not receive water from the reservoir supplying Nicosia between September 18 and 22 due to renewal, maintenance, repair and fault-repair works by the State Hydraulic Works.
According to a statement issued by LTB following information provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the water supply interruption will be carried out as part of works being conducted by the State Hydraulic Works.
Residents were urged to use water sparingly during the interruption to help prevent shortages across the city.
