Kişi: “We Will Hold This Corrupt System Accountable”

In a statement on his personal social media account, Kişi referred to the “Corrupt Governance” phrase used by the party at a press conference in recent days, defining it as “a system of partisanship, inequality, injustice, questionable practices and a lack of accountability.”

Referring to events over the past week, Kişi listed the following:

“Allegations and accusations that emerged during hearings in the fake diploma case,

A quarry permit granted hastily, raising serious questions in the public,

The visual evidence of the disgrace that took place, published by Özgür Gazete…”

“CORRUPT GOVERNANCE WILL GO, TRANSPARENT AND CLEAN GOVERNANCE WILL COME”

Kişi said the CTP’s concern was not merely to expose what had happened, announcing that the party would share its Anti-Corruption Policy with the public in the coming days.

He stressed that their aim was not only to hold those responsible for current events accountable, but also to institutionalise a system of government based on transparency, oversight, accountability and merit.

“We will hold this corrupt system accountable,” Kişi said.

He concluded his statement by saying:

“But more importantly, we will establish the institutional structure necessary to ensure that no government can build such a system again. Corrupt governance will go. Transparent and clean governance will come. 74 days to go. Not long now…”
