Finance Ministry Borrows Another TL2.079 Billion Through Domestic Debt
The Finance Ministry has borrowed TL2.079 billion through a 100-day Treasury bill auction as part of budget financing.
The ministry sold TL2.079 billion in nominal value at the 100-day Turkish lira-denominated Treasury bill auction conducted through the Central Bank on September 29.
The weighted average interest rate at the auction was 38.40 percent.
While the auction had initially targeted TL2 billion in borrowing, total bids amounted to TL2.089 billion. The nominal amount sold was TL2.079 billion.
