297 Foreign Nationals Granted Permission to Purchase Immovable Property
The Council of Ministers has granted 297 foreign nationals permission to purchase immovable property in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), while also approving amendments to the property permits of 22 foreign nationals who had previously been granted permission to purchase property.
Under the Immovable Property Acquisition and Long-Term Leasing (Aliens) Law No. 52/2008, the Council of Ministers decided to grant the necessary permission to 297 foreign nationals to purchase immovable property in the TRNC.
Under Decision No. Ü(K-I)2536-2026, adopted at the Council of Ministers meeting on October 5, 2026, the 297 foreign nationals whose names and details of the properties they intend to purchase are listed in an annex to the submission will be granted the necessary permission, provided that the properties they intend to purchase are available for sale.
Property Permits of 22 People Amended
The Council of Ministers also decided to amend the property permits of 22 foreign nationals who had already obtained permission to purchase immovable property in the TRNC.
Under Decision No. 2629/2026, the requested amendments to the property permits of the individuals concerned, as specified in the list attached to the submission, were approved, provided that the properties they intend to purchase are available for sale.
