Another Body Recovered Off Kyrenia, Three Still Missing
Another body was recovered today during search operations following the ship disaster off Kyrenia. Search efforts for the three remaining missing people are continuing.
The Prime Ministry announced that another body had been recovered today during ongoing search operations following the ship disaster off Kyrenia.
In a statement, the Prime Ministry said the necessary examinations and procedures had been launched to identify the body.
“Our state has mobilised all available resources since the first day of the disaster to locate all those who remain missing and has continued search operations without interruption,” the statement said, adding that efforts would continue with the same determination until all missing people were found.
The statement once again extended condolences to those who lost their lives in the disaster and wished strength and patience to the families of those still missing.
The death toll from the ship disaster, which occurred on August 30, has risen to 25, while search operations for the three missing people are continuing.
