First 30 Minutes Free at Ercan Airport Car Park
The first 30 minutes of parking at Ercan Airport’s general car park are now free of charge. The new arrangement, which came into effect today, aims to reduce vehicle congestion outside the Arrivals Terminal.
Under the new fee scheme, drivers using the general car park at Ercan Airport will not be charged for the first 30 minutes. The arrangement was introduced following initiatives by the Civil Aviation Department, which operates under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and was approved by the Ministry of Finance.
The measure is intended to ease traffic congestion outside the Arrivals Terminal.
Implemented under the relevant provisions of the Management and Operation Agreement for the Transfer of Ercan Airport’s Operating Rights, the new arrangement was designed as an alternative solution to reducing congestion in front of the terminal.
