Showers and Thunderstorms Expected Across the Region
According to the Meteorology Department’s weekly weather forecast, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy conditions are expected across the region today, with isolated showers or thunderstorms. The weather is forecast to become partly cloudy to slightly cloudy later in the day.
The region will remain under the influence of a low-pressure system and its associated frontal system.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 25–28 degrees Celsius inland, 24–27 degrees along the coast and 19–22 degrees in mountainous areas.
Minimum temperatures are forecast to range from 15–18 degrees inland, 18–21 degrees along the coast and 14–17 degrees in mountainous areas.
Winds are expected to blow from northerly directions at moderate strength, becoming strong at times.
