Dinçyürek Withdraws Resignation and Re-enters UBP Candidate Race
Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek has reversed his decision to withdraw from the National Unity Party’s (UBP) parliamentary candidate race and announced that he will continue his candidacy following consultations with party members and supporters.
In a statement, Dinçyürek said he wanted to share his plans for the next stage following discussions, mutual assessments and consultations with party members and supporters.
Stressing that he would not compromise on his principles, stance or determination to continue the struggle, Dinçyürek said: “We will continue to stand tall like the letter Elif.”
He said he would continue the struggle with determination alongside all party members who trusted, believed in and supported him.
Describing their efforts as a struggle for shared goals and principles rather than personal interests or positions, Dinçyürek said their sole objective was to strengthen the UBP, contribute to the country’s future and jointly build fair, competent and strong teams capable of serving the public.
He added that he believed no obstacle was insurmountable with unity, determination and collective wisdom.
Dinçyürek said he would continue on his path, as he had done until now, in defence of the values he believed in and with a sense of responsibility towards those who trusted him.
He concluded his statement by saying: “See you at the ballot box on December 6, for our country, our people and our party…”
