Hasipoğlu: 46,660 People Receive 40,000 TL Bonus Payments

Labour and Social Security Minister Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu said payments had been made to the bank accounts of a total of 46,660 beneficiaries as of today.

In a statement on the matter, Hasipoğlu said:

“Bonus payments of 40,000 TL to those receiving pensions and/or income from the Social Insurance Department have been deposited into their accounts. As of today, payments have been made to the bank accounts of 46,660 beneficiaries. Citizens who became eligible for retirement before November 6 but whose procedures are still ongoing will also benefit from this payment.

“During our government’s term, our social insurance fund has moved into surplus, and debt and interest payments to banks have come to an end. On this occasion, I would like to congratulate our Prime Minister Ünal Üstel for demonstrating the necessary determination, as well as the Social Insurance Department and its Board of Directors for ensuring that this payment was made without affecting the social insurance fund.

“As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Social Insurance Department, I wish this payment to be beneficial to our citizens who have retired after paying premiums for many years.”
