Showers expected through Sunday
The Meteorological Department announced that heavy rain is expected until Sunday.
The Meteorology Department reported that the region will be under the influence of the low pressure system and the cold and humid air mass in the upper atmosphere between 23-29 March.
According to the statement made by the Meteorology Department, the weather will be partly cloudy on other days with thunderstorms until Sunday.
The highest air temperature will generally be around 19 - 22 degrees in the Inland and Beaches.
The wind will be moderately strong at times, mostly from the North and East directions.
